Data Controller
Informax Quiz Platform is the data controller responsible for your personal data. If you have any questions or requests about how we handle your data, please contact us at privacy@quizkaboom.be.
Data We Collect
We collect the following personal data when you use Informax:
- Account information — your name and e-mail address, provided by Auth0 when you sign in with a social or enterprise identity provider.
- Usage data — quizzes you create, sessions you host or join, scores, and question answers.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, and session tokens required to operate the service securely.
We do not collect payment information, location data, or any sensitive categories of personal data.

Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we will erase your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law. Anonymised aggregate statistics (e.g. total quiz plays) may be kept indefinitely.
Data Sharing
We share your data only with the following third parties, under strict data-processing agreements:
- Auth0 — identity and authentication management.
- Cloud hosting provider — infrastructure on which the application and database run.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes.
Cookies
Informax uses the following cookies:
- Authentication cookie (strictly necessary) — stores your login session. Without it the service cannot function.
- Anti-forgery token (strictly necessary) — protects against cross-site request forgery attacks.
We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies from third parties.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights. To exercise any of them, e-mail us at privacy@quizkaboom.be.
Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Request that we delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
Ask us to restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
